With increased home development in recent years, we have seen an upsurge in demand for additional circuits. This may be to service a new home office, garden studio, summer house or to get sufficient power to your shed or outbuilding for power tools, heaters, lights and other electrical appliances.

This sort of work requires specific knowledge to ensure that the electrical load on the existing home circuit does not exceed safe levels and that the new spaces are safe and protected from electrical issues. As additional circuits often require outdoor work to connect to the main circuit, we may need to install armoured cables with adequate safety protection. Our work is NICEIC regulated to ensure that it is fully insured and compliant. While other people involved in your new outbuilding may suggest they are able to install electrics for you, we cannot stress enough how important it is that this is done in line with current compliance. This is in place to protect property and people – there is a real danger of putting a garden tool through a cable while digging without appropriate installation.
